(Ages 3-5 years)
Building brave, joyful little dancers from their very first steps.
Preschool Rockit is where children aged 3–5 discover the joy of dance, make their first friendships and build confidence that shines both in and out of the studio.
Through music, imagination and playful movement, our classes nurture little dancers as they learn to listen, follow along and express themselves — all while feeling proud, capable and excited to come back each week.
Ages 3-5 years
Pockit Rockit $16 per class
A playful introduction to music and movement where little ones explore rhythm, shapes and stories.

Styles: Ballet and Jazz (creative combo style).

Focus: Listening and turn-taking, gross motor skills, basic dance positions, following simple sequences.

Class size: Small groups so your child is seen and supported.

Saturday - Pockit Rockit Ballet - 9:00 to 9:30am
Saturday – Pockit Rockit Jazz – 9:30 to 10:00am

At Preschool Rockit we understand that little ones are learning everything for the first time — how to follow instructions, be part of a group and move their bodies with confidence. Our classes are designed to feel fun, safe and engaging while gently building foundational skills.
In every preschool class you’ll see:
A consistent, predictable routine to help children feel secure and confident.
Short, engaging activities (5–8 minutes) to match developing attention spans.
Music, imagination and props to keep learning playful and exciting.
Clear demonstrations with plenty of encouragement and support.
Positive behaviour guidance that builds confidence without pressure.
We also focus on important early life skills: listening, taking turns, following instructions, managing big feelings, building independence and learning to participate without a parent.

We focus on joyful, holistic development, while still helping families see clear growth over time.
By the end of a typical year, many children will:
Move confidently to music and recognise rhythm and tempo.
Copy simple shapes, positions and basic dance steps.
Join group activities independently without a parent in the room.
Follow simple instructions and classroom routines.
Remember short movement sequences and perform them with growing confidence.
Across the year we share: In-class viewing opportunities and performance experiences designed to be positive and low-pressure.
Flexible ways to start
We know starting an activity at this age is a big milestone for both children and parents.
For new 3–5 year olds we offer:
Junior Starter Pack – 4 Week Trial
Try one class per week for 4 weeks.
No enrolment fee during the starter pack.
If your child loves it, you can continue into the semester with adjusted fees.
Our preschool fees are:
From approximately $16 per week (billed per semester).
Easy fortnightly payment options available.
$200 Sports Vouchers are available once students reach Reception.

As your child builds confidence and skills, they can continue into our junior programs (ages 5+), where classes gradually introduce more technique, structure and performance opportunities.
This means your child can begin in a nurturing preschool environment and continue their dance journey in one familiar, supportive studio.

4. Arrive 10 minutes early so we can help your child settle in comfortably. Students can wear shorts and a t-shirt for their trial.
